Alcoholics Anonymous was founded in the year 1935. It was based off a book published by the same name and offered up a 12-step program meant to help those who suffered from alcohol addiction.
Our center is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and we are here to assist our community the best way that we can.
We are a fellowship of men and women, all who are former addicts who hope to share their experiences and help others. Being compassionate toward others is a huge part of who we are.
Addiction is an isolating disease which can cause you to lose friends and family and vital support. Our groups fill that need for support to those who have none, which can benefit the recovery process.
We know that addiction can take everything from you, which is why we want to help you rediscover yourself. Living without alcohol rearranges everything you thought you were. Our support groups give you a chance to ask questions and learn new life lessons.
Coping with struggles without alcohol when that was your only friend for so long can feel impossible. That’s why we are here to help you in your time of need. Come check out our center today.
