Support the Greenbank Farm
If you love the open space of the Farm…the off-leash trails…the education of a new generation of farmers…the historic barn…the wetlands, great blue herons, and red winged blackbirds…
If you love Greenbank Farm…would you consider making a financial contribution?
The Greenbank Farm Management Group does indeed receive some funding from the Port of Coupeville, via a publicly supported levy. Such funds cover minimal upkeep of the buildings and fields. And income from private tenants helps offset much of the operation of the facilities.
But in order to build more collaborative relationships, develop programming, and design/implement natural resource management plans that will carry the Farm into a more educational and vibrant future, additional funding is needed.
Greenbank Farm is doing what it was designed to do…it’s working in concert with the community, perpetuating the vision that saved it from development in the late 90’s. Your community spirit is making all of this happen. As we begin 2012, the Farm needs your financial help to keep the momentum building. Can we count on you?
You can make a one-time donation, or set up a monthly contribution. You can become a “member “ of Greenbank Farm, by donating money and your interest in what is going on at the Farm (you’ll receive a monthly newsletter, invitations to special Farm celebrations, and you’ll be entered in monthly drawings for merchandise from the Farm). You can contribute to the “Birthday Fund,” asking friends and family to make a donation to the Farm in honor of your birthday (or other special occasion). And, of course, if you do any of these things and your employer has a “matching gift program,” you’ll multiply the impact of your contribution.
No donation is too small or too large to be put to good use…and a group of generous donors is ready and waiting to match up to $20,000 in this drive (we’re only $8,000 away from completely meeting this challenge!). Every penny will lead the way to an even more vibrant 2012!
Thanks for your support and investment in the Farm’s future.
