Whidbey Island is blessed with wonderful parks, offering a diverse and beautiful set of hiking trails. We’re proud to add to that variety of walking/running options!
Meandering through open fields, you can piece together a short, relatively flat walk, or get creative and design your own heart-pumping 5 mile run (you’ll need a pedometer though, our trails have not yet been measured).
Along the way, you’ll encounter breathtaking vistas of the Cascades as well as the Olympics, which means also seeing the waters of Holmes Harbor to the east and Admiralty Inlet to the west. There are benches strategically placed to encourage lingering.
As a bonus, we are an off-leash dog park (only in marked areas), so your canine friends can enjoy the experience with you. Signs near the north parking lot will explain the “etiquette” rules of the trails, which make everyone’s experience healthier and more pleasant.
